The air quality department at Meteo-Tech possesses extensive experience in local-level atmospheric
pollutant dispersion analyses, including analyses of air pollution incidents that cause smell nuisances.
Meteo-Tech developed a proprietary model
that may be employed to calculate airflow routes, which enable the pinpointing of areas out of which
the pollutants that reached the location of the complaining party may have been emitted.
Additionally, Meteo-Tech employs a number of models in order to analyze the atmospheric dispersion of pollutants and the setting of their particles.
The US Environment Protection Agency (US EPA) ,
the European Environment Agency (EEA) and
the Israeli Ministry of the Environment
have already endorsed these state-of-the-art models. The models are used to analyze the dispersion of pollutants from industrial, transport and other sources.
The pollutant dispersion models employed by Meteo-Tech enable our specialists to
carry out analyses for regulatory and licensing authorities that require detailed information about the effect of the activities being analyzed
on the environment, as well as for the industrial plants.
The calculated information makes it possible to specify the conditions the business would have to meet in order to obtain the required
license in terms of the steps that should be taken in order to minimize pollution, and the planning and actual execution of the preventive
action the plant should initiate. At the same time, our state-of-the-art models enable the planning and execution of the range of activities
required in order to erect installations that would help minimize the emissions from industrial plants.
